Euro Asia Imports Issued a Recall for Certain Bicycle Handlebars Due to Possible Fall Hazards

Filed under: General — Tags: — admin @ 5:59 pm

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Health Canada and Nitto Co. Ltd of Japan are combining forces and issuing an international recall of certain Bicycle Handlebars. It’s estimated that there are about 2000 of the recalled items in the United States and 70 in Canada.

The problem that prompted this recall is that the handlebars can break while users are riding the affected bicycles leading to possibly extreme crashes. The faulty handlebars can be identified because they have ‘NITTO’ and ‘B259′ printed on it and come in red, blue, black, gold, green, pink and silver colors. Consumers should stop using these recalled handlebars and contact the importers “Euro Asia Imports” for a refund.

As a Bellevue car accident lawyer, I urge consumers to remember that whenever you’re injured in a bicycle accident that was caused by a faulty part or another vehicle, you should contact a knowledgeable lawyer near you and ask about your legal options. Do not delay.
